STUDENT LIFE

Catholic Agricultural College Bindoon provides a small, supportive environment where the focus is on self-development, interaction with others and interaction with the environment. We contribute to the total social, emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual and moral development of our students.

Pastoral care at CAC Bindoon extends beyond the classroom and the residential houses, with all staff providing high quality care and personal attention. On school days, students start classes in a homeroom with their homeroom teacher and peers. This enables the homeroom teacher to observe the wellbeing and progress of each student on a daily basis.

In Year 8, a study skills program assists students in their transition to high school. A Year 8 Orientation camp, held in the second week of Term 1, also helps with this transition phase. A similar program is run for Year 11 students to familiarise these students with the different demands of vocational, post compulsory education.
